My family has a bunch of senior dogs and cats. Then, the rest of the furry family is made up of active pets who walk in the forest with me every day or spend their day running around and digging holes in the backyard.<\/p>\n
The senior pets need regular cleaning.\u00a0 Some of the elders already live with incontinence.\u00a0 So, at least 3-4 times a day I have to clean them and their areas.\u00a0 Then, the youngsters always bring a lot of dirt from outside.<\/p>\n
Needless to say, I use a lot or wet wipes.\u00a0 But, I stopped buying them.\u00a0 Although there are a lot of new eco-friendly 99% biodegradable wet wipes out there, the cost of buying this stuff every week was money thrown away.<\/p>\n
I recently came across a very good recipe for DIY dog wipes that are eco-friendly and very cheap to make.\u00a0 Plus, all the ingredients are available at any local store.<\/p>\n
I use these homemade dog paw wipes to clean their paws, their bodies (for those with incontinence) I now use homemade dog bath wipes, and diy dog grooming wipes for the outside of their ears and around their eyes to get the dry stuff off their faces.\u00a0 It is all perfectly safe.\u00a0 but, I do not use these homemade dog wipes on their eyes directly, and I also don’t wipe the inside of their ears with these wipes.\u00a0 I hear it is safe to do so, but I stick to the outside.<\/p>\n
