Meet the pack

Working to launch this platform has been a mammoth task that has taken the last 2 decades of my life. Day and night. And the pack have been my constant companions in this project.

During my very long days at the computer, there hasn’t been a single minute where I found myself alone. There’s always one of the pack lying right here, next to me. I built KindBunch for them!  So, I thought I’d give you a quick intro to my beautiful pack.

This family is getting up there in the age department.  And, with that, come the ailments, the special diets, more regular visits to the vet, and so on. 

Some people invite visitors to support their work with a donation for coffee.  I’m all about snacks for my pack.  So, if you wish to support this family with a snack or two, we will very much appreciate your kindness.

Chubby, boisterous gal with a huge heart.  Left on the streets alone at 3 weeks of age.  Came as a foster.  Stayed forever.  Has a ton of food allergies, but never says no to a snack.

On 24 March 2026, my beautiful girl passed. But I haven't had the strength to take down her image from my pack intro...

Very, very frightened little lady joined our family in April 2018.  Given her extreme fear of humans, Miriam came in as a foster, but, who are we kidding? She'll stay in our care for life!

This elegant lady was probably lost on a stormy night.  Found her curled up alone, wet and with a very sore eye infection.

That was 15 years ago. Still the most elegant of us all.  Her foster family love her so much, which may explain why the last 2 interested adopters were deemed "not good enough!".

Found struggling alone, thirsty and tired, with 6 pups. Pups were adopted, mother has remained with us to treat a number of lumps.

We've got her back whatever it takes.

16 years old
Tiniest, and loudest, member of the team. Imagine a mini terrier abandoned at the local pound at the age of 12.

Alone in the loud, stressful pound, she stopped eating and had clumps of fur falling out.

That's how this tiny senior lady was found. But now she's with us. Safe and thriving and barking at pigeons 24/7!

Imagine a Husky roaming the streets under the blistering heat of Bahrain. That’s how Meera was found.

We don’t know why she was left alone to fend for herself. Hungry, thin, dirty and desperately thirsty, a good Samaritan brought her to shelter.

The rest is history. She is now living her best life alongside Miley and the rest of the pack.

This happy girl loves nothing more than to sing the anthem of all Huskies, like 24/7!! It’s an acquired taste, admittedly, but I can no longer imagine a day I don't get woken up (most days before sunrise) without the song of her people.

5-ish years old
This young lady was found with an injured paw in the middle of a busy freeway. Thin scare and abandoned.

Her “crime”? A bad sterilization that left her incontinent. She’s barely 2 years old. Her future seemed dark. Few people would accept her incontinence. But, we did. And today, she loves her life - long walks in Lisbon’s Monsanto forest, zoomies, a ton of cuddles, and great Portuguese food - all the good stuff that is helping her overcome her fears.

I'm Cristina.  Mother of the pack and the developer behind KindBunch.  It's been set up on a shoestring, with a lot of ups, downs, chaos, delays, etc.

I hope you like what I'm building here.  And I hope I can count on you to help me spread the word, so we can build a vibrant community to support animal rescues worldwide.
