There’s no doubt that mainstream media is catching on that animal welfare gets a lot of eyeballs. Every day it seems they are featuring new stories on animal rescues and that is great! I love to see it because despite everything, they still reach a lot of people. The more stories highlighting animal welfare, the better.

And just as I was preparing to open this group, I came across this fabulous cat lady in the Gaurdian newspaper. Enjoy!

My boy is now 15 years old. He's getting up there and things are starting to change. This year he's been placed on meds for his back, he had some teeth removed and our vet confirms he has arthritis on 2 of his legs. My boy is struggling. Sadly, it is a reality - we have to watch our furry kids struggle with old age much faster. And I happen to know that there are a lot of pet parents out there are dealing with these very same issues as I am. So, this group is for us all to share tips on how we support our senior pets. Since then, her human family has done everything to find her. They will not give up and they need our voice to make sure Rodri is not forgotten.
