Here’s the story about how I have another rescue hedgehog in my care. If you think you have found a sick or injured animal in the wild, call your local wildlife rescue for advice.<\/p>\n
Hedgehogs should not be out in the daytime, they are nocturnal animals. If you see them wandering around in the day, they are probably unwell.<\/p>\n
If you find a sick or injured hedgehog:
\n\u273f Call your local wildlife rescue for advice
\n\u273f Find secure box with high sides
\n\u273f Keep it somewhere warm and dark
\n\u273f Use some shredded newspaper or a towel for it to hide in
\n\u273f Provide shallow dishes of water and if available some dog or cat food (not fish flavours)
\n\u273f Never give milk or bread
\n\u273f If you find a nest, don’t touch or move it<\/p>\n
