Khanyisa’s daily update – Wednesday 08 April – her condition continues

Thank you, everyone, for your kind concerns and well wishes for little Khanyisa!

Over the last 24 hours, her diarrhea has continued, but she still has no fever and we are happy to see that she still has an appetite and some of her bright Sunshine energy, although a little less than normal.

We are looking forward to receiving the lab results from her dung soon to be able to get to the bottom of this setback and also ascertain if it may be teething.

Adine and our elephant care team, as well as our vet, Doc Rogers continue to manage the situation as efficiently as possible, together with Khanyisa’s carers (Lammie included)!
