Our groups run a lot like Facebook’s groups, but without the spam! Each group has its own timeline and it’s own forum. Group admins and moderators are the only ones allowed to post in their group timelines, but all members can participate in the forum.
Groups exist to build niche communities around a particular subject – a specific animal, a niche like Fashion or Gardening, a place, a brand or a person. You can literally open a group about anything, anyone or any subject. KindBunch isn’t just about animals. It’s about everything.

For the rescue community, the idea is that we can use groups to build local networks and educate people about a specific animal. For example, in the “Pigeons” group, people can ask questions, local rescue and feeding networks can be organized and pigeon lovers can simply interact in the forum as they wish.
During this Beta month, anyone can open a group about anything and try running a group. You will be responsible for moderating your group and keeping it sane without tantrums, fights or spammers!
For the larger community’s sake, moderators may decide to withdraw any group if admins don’t do their job at keeping their groups in line with our terms.
Once the Beta is completed, please send me your feedback. What are your ideas for how we should run groups. Who should be allowed to run them. What are your likes and dislikes. I need that feedback from you so we can make KindBunch as useful, fun and creative as possible.
After all, we are all in this community for animal welfare.
We are keeping the rules simple:
- You cannot open groups with content related to sexual, gambling, drugs, insurance, finance, spam or anything that contradicts animal welfare.
- All content must align with animal welfare, for obvious reasons.
- KindBunch reserves the right to delete any group at any time.
- Don’t engage with argumentative people. Ignore and move on. Group admins and moderators can easily block or delete any user any time.

Other than that, enjoy! Build communities, interact and get creative. Every interaction will raise money for homeless animals. And that’s what we are here for.
Between now and our official launch in September, a lot can change. I am aware of a few glitches with the forums that can sometimes get a little slow. I’ll fix that. And your feedback will help me with all that.
So, thank you for wanting to be a part of KindBunch. I am humbled by your membership.
