Update on Khanyisa: 21 January 2020

The past two days have not been as good as we would have liked for Khanyisa. She had not been drinking that well, which is always a concern.

We asked Dr. Peter Rogers to visit for another check-up. By this afternoon, when he arrived, she had already started to show improvement again and responding to our milk formula, which we continually change according to her changing needs. He said that she was happy with her condition, which was great news.

He also mentioned that he was happy with the way her wounds are healing. So she seems back on track.

Just after Doc left, she went for a little evening walk around the orphanage, and loved every minute of it, that Adine and Herman battled her start head back home to her nursery!
