Three days worth of footage, combined into one video. Some never before seen shots and the usual brightness/colour correction with better export settings.
These days mark the beginning of Chibi’s real adventure. Taking her outside was still an incredible experience for us and each time we went out, something new happened. Flying up to a tree for the first time, being outside with other people, driving in our car…Chibi was so cool with everything going on that it all just felt natural and happened by itself. We didn’t train her to come to us and we didn’t use food to keep her coming back because we didn’t need to.
She also saw the beach for the first time. We were a little scared that the ocean might freak her out, but she just chilled and enjoyed the experience. Everything we did, we had to figure out as we went along. You can use the internet to learn about what sparrows eat but nothing is written on how to take them outside. Looking back, we were not aware of all the dangers out there and I guess we were a little lucky that nothing bad happened. But taking that risk more than paid off and we don’t regret doing it.
