Albino elephant calf Khanyisas fourth and fifth encounter with Lundi, her future mom

We have shared many proud moments as we have watched Khanyisa slowing becoming familiar with the touch, smell and sounds of her uncle Jabulani and her new mom, Lundi. What a privilege it is to see this brave young elephant healed enough to be at this remarkable stage.

We have combined the last two days of Khanyisa and Lundi’s memorable encounters together (the fourth and fifth). With the two days being so closed to one another, you can straight away see how from one day to the next how comfortable and how graciously accepting Lundi is of Khanyisa already.

We just love how Khanyisa dashes over to them when she seems them – just so precious!
