New footage, new music, better exposure/colours and better exporting settings.
What a day this was. Not only did Chibi get a proper wooden house and said goodbye to her cardboard box, she also started flying with visible confidence. On top of that, this was her first time being outside, you can see a glimpse of that at the end of this video.
The reason we took her out was that we went to check out and test the location of her supposed release. As you can see, we tried to release her after only 8 days of having her in our home. The Dodo video went for a little more drama and buildup/payoff so that made it seem like we tried to release Chibi after months of imprinting. While in fact we tried to do it as soon as possible and certainly before we built her a habitat in our living room.
So yeah, up until this point the plan was still to release her. And we still thought she was male and wanted to call her Gohan. However, when we got home and started talking, we were less and less confident about the whole situation. Chibi was clearly hanging on to us even when outside. This was something we have never seen before.
We went to bed full of uncertainty and fears. How can you leave this little ball of friendly fluff in some random tree?
