Chibi the sparrow – [426 days] “No fronteras”

Summer is kicking into high gear and every corner is bursting with activity.
I’m having the time of my life just goofing around with the neighborhood human and bird gangs.
Lots of boy sparrows are seeking my attention but I always hold my ground and chase them away.
We took a trip across the border and visited a campsite in Croatia. The place was bursting with sparrows and they were all hanging around humans, it was awesome. I was enjoying myself for a couple of hours but then got tempted by all the birds and flew away. I didn’t know the place so I got lost and couldn’t find mom and dad anymore. Hours went by and it started to get dark. I was very hungry so I flew to a far away restaurant and joined some people there. They were super friendly and they shared their food with me. I was so tired that I fell asleep on a shoulder of a man from Italy. The next thing I remember is waking up at my home in Slovenia. I have no idea how mom and dad found me but I feel more connected with them after this experience. I really have to pay more attention to where my family is and try not to get carried away too much when meeting other birds.
