This project has been in the works since 2000. On a shoestring & with no investors, it's been a wild ride. But my pack of rescues has been my inspiration.
Get to know the pack that inspired KindBunch.
Built especially for people traveling with their pets, our city guides will hep you decide where to stay, where to eat and how to get around with your pet during your visit.

We are building groups for people who truly love animals. A safe space to share knowledge, educate and build local networks to support animals in need.
Work is still in progress. We launch early this year.
And it’s going to be epic!
LEARN MORE
Rabbits are gentle, expressive animals that form strong social bonds—both with other rabbits and with people who earn their trust. They groom one another to show affection, thump the ground to warn of danger, and perform joyful hops called “binkies” when they’re happy. A rabbit that trusts you may flop down beside you, nudge or lick your hand, follow you around, or relax with soft eyes and neutral ears.
If you’re considering rescue, remember rabbits need calm, consistent care and time to build confidence. Move slowly and quietly around them, let them approach on their own terms, and use small rabbit-safe treats from an open palm to create positive associations. Spend short, regular sessions sitting quietly and offering gentle petting, and always respect signs of stress—stop if a rabbit thumps, tenses, or tries to escape. Providing a safe space with hiding spots helps rabbits feel secure and more willing to bond.
Rescuing a rabbit means committing to patience and compassion: with the right approach, you can help a timid or surrendered rabbit become a trusting, affectionate companion.
