Khanyisa’s walks in the wild!

Part of our Lockdown Crew on the ground, Jabulani GM, Stefan joined Adine, carer, Liverson, Lammie and little Khanyisa for another frolic in nature, including three of Sunshine’s favourite things: sand, water and foraging! How can a baby ellie resist!

It’s a real treat for the members in our team to be able to share in these special moments with Khanyisa – childhood memories we will always cherish. Lockdown has some blessings, after all.

Khanyisa learns so much from these walks – about nature and the wonders of her tiny body – from the curious little trunk at the end of her face to her “handy” growing feet (ideal for digging and splashing).

Together with her walks with the bigger herd, these homeschool lessons in elephanthood are progressing swimmingly!
