Definitely get some non-slip carpet for him. I buy some really cheap rubber floor material and cover the house with it. Its washable, paws don’t get stuck on it and quite durable.

My 18 year-old lab-mix is a big boy. He weighs about 30-40kgs(?)
He is having trouble with his back and back legs but he is in no pain.I’m working on supports for when we take him for a walk, but now I’m looking at ways to make our home for accommodating for him to get around.
I have already bought him a special, low bed to support his back.
I also bought a lifted thingy for his food and water so he doesn’t have to bend so low.
What else can I do to make him more comfortable? -
Rodri was being flown from Chania to Athens on 8th March, 2024 on flight A3331. On arrival, her box was broken and empty. Since then, her human family has done everything to find her.
