    Welcome everyone. The photos you see are of Bob. He is the inspiration for this group. Bob had dementia. For the last 3 years of his life, his human family watched with sadness as they progressively lost their boy to dementia.

    For him, not much changed in his mind, I believe. He was still playful. He loved his walks and he loved barking at everyone. We know he was content because, despite his condition and regular confusion, he never stopped collecting his beloved rocks which he carefully tucked in the far corner of his bed.

  • For those of you who know me, you know that I have a senior pitbull rescue. He’s going on 12 years of age now. We’ve been together for 3 years now. He had a hard life living with people who did not care for him. Most of his time was out in the backyard alone, rain or shine. In the last year, he started slowing down.     • I did the pool work with my old Bella too. She responded well-ish because she liked the water. But Yes to massages. She loved those and I did notice a change in her. Thank you for this share.

    • I just adopted a senior cat who is struggling with her back paws. I am definitely trying out some massaging. It helps us, so it can only give them a little relief. Thanks for your share. I’ve bookmarked this.
