This young lady was found roaming the streets alone in Bahrain. Alone, hungry and thirsty, she must have spent a good chunk of time there by herself. She was found in a popular dumping ground. Given her Husky coat, she must have suffered with the heat of the Arabias. The Gulf region is no place for a Husky. They are from the North, the cold! So, it was imperative to get her out.
She was taken in by a rescue and placed for adoption immediately. That’s how I learned about her. First, I was asked to foster her upon her arrival in Europe. But, as it turned out, she needed more help. And, the moment I met her I knew that, no matter the cost, she was my family.
A year later, here she, in Lisbon, living her best life alongside Miley, her sister. Yeah, they might be from the same family. They were found in the same area, at the same time. We’re just not sure.
What matters is she’s off the streets. She loves her home. She loves her bed. She loves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. She loves her daily walks in the Lisbon forest. She has a ton of dog friends in the neighbourhood. And she makes sure everyone knows it by singing…she sings a lot! And we love it! Not sure how the neighbours like it, though…
